Victor holds a Ph.D. in Management and a Masters in Finance from ISEG. His academic background also includes executive courses (Harvard Business School; NYU Stern School of Business; IPCG - Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance; West Virginia University) and academic courses (ESADE Business School; University of Bern; WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management; Wayne State University; Tilburg University) in international institutions. CFA® charterholder issued by the CFA Institute, USA, and Certified Accountant. Lecturing activity is mainly focused on the finance field for undergraduates, Masters, PhD, MBA, and executive education programmes. Faculty adviser of ISEG in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Research activity has been focused on corporate finance topics, corporate tax avoidance, assessment of fiscal policies and sustainable/ESG performance. He also serves as an independent board member and Chairman of the Audit Committee at INAPA IPG and Chairman of the Audit Board at RTP.
