A hospital pharmacist since 2009 at the Lisbon North Local Health Unit, she holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra, and is a Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy accredited by the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society.
Throughout her career, she has worked in the areas of medicines management, risk management and patient safety; she is currently a member of the Risk Management and Patient Safety Office, where she has also been responsible for training management since 2019. She also sits on the Committee for the Introduction and Analysis of Laboratory Reagents.
Between 2013 and 2024, she was a guest tutor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, for the ‘Clinical Therapeutics Practice II’ module. She maintains a particular interest in the areas of quality, patient safety and risk management, and is committed to continuously updating her professional skills.
