Pedro is an investment professional at HCapital since 2017.
In addition to his responsibilities as a member of the investment and portfolio monitoring team, Pedro has been coordinating the implementation of HCapital?s ESG framework since 2020. This has entailed working with ESG specialists in devising a revised sustainability policy, implementing data collection/reporting routines, adjusting governance models to include ESG matters, ensuring compliance with domestic and EU-wide legislation and with the UNPRI, and coordinating the implementation of such matters both at the firm and at HCapital?s portfolio companies? levels. Pedro has c.9 years of experience working in the lower mid-market private equity industry in both Portugal and Spain. Prior to working in this industry, Pedro was an associate at PwC in its financial services advisory team in Lisbon. Pedro is a CFA charterholder, holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MsC and bachelor?s in economics from NOVA School of Business and Economics, in Lisbon.
