With over 30 years’ experience in sustainability consultancy, he founded Sair da Casca in 1994, a pioneer in Portugal in integrating sustainability into business strategies.
In 2025, she led the merger of the company with S317, Engidro and Factor Social, giving rise to Portugal’s largest sustainability consultancy group – The Equator Company.
She is responsible for business development across a range of services covering ESG strategy, climate and energy, water and sanitation, the circular economy and social impact, with a presence in over 30 countries. She teaches on postgraduate programmes at ISEG and ISCTE Business School and participates in applied research projects in the areas of sustainability strategy and social innovation. She is a regular speaker and moderator at national and international conferences.
In 2021, she was honoured by the French government with the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite. In 2025, she was recognised by Forbes Portugal as an ESG Green Woman.
