From 2000 to 2019, Miguel worked for IFC in the area of Innovation and Sustainability and was responsible for the identification, structuring, and implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions which contribute to the reduction of extreme poverty and stimulate the sharing of prosperity in emerging countries. Created and managed the team which competed in the Financial Times and IFC Transformational Business Awards a reference project in the area of innovation and sustainability which is often referred to as the Oscars of Sustainability. He is currently a consultant for IFC, a Visiting Professor at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he lectures in the ?Happy Cities: Prosperous, Smart & Sustainable? Executive Education programme in both the USA and internationally. Worked at BPA and then Millennium bcp, where he was part of the team that set up Millennium BIM in Mozambique in 1995.
