João Galego has a MSc degree in Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), where he specialized in High-Energy Physics and worked under a scholarship at the Center for Theoretical Particle Physics (CFTP), as well as a postgraduate degree in Forensic Studies from Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP).
He worked several years as a software tester, as an external DevOps consultant for multiple companies and, lastly, as a lead Machine Learning (ML) engineer in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation team at Siemens Financial Services. Currently, he works as a solutions architect, ML specialist, and Generative AI and Quantum Computing ambassador at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leader in infrastructure and cloud platform services according to Gartner, helping customers in every stage of their cloud journey.
