With over 23 years of professional experience in management, technology, consulting, and sales, Ana Rita has built a solid career trajectory, driving growth and innovation across various industries. She started her career and developed a significant portion of it in consulting at Accenture and Ernst & Young. In 2015, Ana Rita assumed the position of Business Planning and Operations Leader at Microsoft Portugal, later integrating into the executive committee to oversee the public enterprise business segment of the Portuguese subsidiary. In 2018, she expanded her responsibilities internationally, taking the helm in Government, Defense, and Healthcare sectors across Microsoft Western Europe (14 countries). Recently, Ana Rita assumed a global role at Microsoft Corporation as the leader of the Education sector for the entire Europe, Middle East, and Africa region (128 countries). She holds a degree in International Relations from the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas – Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and has completed various complementary management programs at INSEAD, Universidade Católica, and AESE Business School.
