His main interests are productivity, industry dynamics, customer markets, data science, and industrial organization. His work has been published in some important journals such as The Economic Journal, The Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, and Regional Science and Urban Economics. He holds a PhD from LSE and was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante, Tilburg University and a Faculty Fellow at MIT. His work has received several awards, including the EARIE Young Economist Essay Award and the ZEW Heinz Konig Young Scholar Award.
